Ministry of Sound London, commonly referred to as simply Ministry of Sound or MoS is a nightclub based in South of London in the area of Southwark on Elephant & Castle. After being opened illegally for a couple of weeks, the club opened officially in 1992 being the first to bring the American House Music from New York, Chicago and Detroit to the UK and Europe. Ministry of Sound club distinguishes itself from all other London clubs by its location, relatively far from city centre, non-alcoholic bar and amazing sound system.

In the past twenty years Ministry of Sound developed internationally and expanded all over the world. Besides new clubs that have been opened in big international cities like Singapore, Shanghai and Melbourne, Ministry of Sound evolved into a record label, TV-station, radio station and events & artists agency. Within twenty years Ministry of Sound managed to go from a single nightclub and turn into one of the biggest music empires, influencing the dance industry and club scene in the whole world.
